Forecourt pause:

Forecourt pause hjelper deg å ta kontroll over spilleren og ikke gå glipp av noe - selv når du lytter til digital radio - og har blitt designet for tilfeller når du trenger å forlate bilen og gå tilbake igjen i løpet av relativt kort tid for eksempel når du besøker en bensinstasjon eller minibank. Hvordan virker det? Når du ta nøklene ut av tenningen Vil Ezi-DAB fortsatt motta strøm i rundt 15 minutter. I denne perioden sitter den i en "ventemodus" (skjerm av) noe som betyr at den er slått på, men faktisk ikke spiller noen lyd (dette er nesten som en strømsparemodus: det vil ikke tappe batteriet). Når du kommer tilbake til bilen og slår på tenningen (innen 15 minutters vindu) vil Ezi-DAB umiddelbart bytte tilbake og begynne å spille igjen i en av følgende måter:

• Hvis du lyttet til et iPod spor, vil det fortsette der det slapp (det punktet da du sist hørte lyd).
• Hvis du lyttet til en digital radiostasjon vil den begynne å spille live radio igjen.

Du kan også pause de digitale radiosendingene for opp til 8 minutter slik at du kan fylle drivstoff, gå og betale, komme tilbake i bilen og fortsette å lytte der du slapp.

Picnic mode:

Picnic modus er perfekt når du har parkert i et idyllisk sted og vil ha en matbit utenfor, men allikevel innenfor rekkevidden av kjøretøyet og ønsker å ha litt bakgrunnsmusikk. Så med tenningen slått av og tastene fjernet, åpner du dørene og slår på Ezi-DAB og lytter til hva du vil. Etter en time vil Ezi-DAB slå seg av automatisk slik at du aldri tømmer batteriet på bilen din.
