Print 8-inch Installation Kit for Volkswagen platforms (MIB-PQ/Golf VI - Seat, Skoda and VW)
KIT-8VWTX303
The KIT-8VWTX303 includes all parts for mechanical fitting of an 8-inch Alpine X803D-U / X803DC-U Head Unit, as well as an interface that allows to retain the car’s air condition and heater control screens and the optical parking sensor display.
The interface also supports the vehicle’s radio display in the instrument cluster (MFD) and Steering Wheel Remote Control. An antenna adapter with phantom feed and a power Quadlock adapter are included as well. You can even directly connect the original VW / Skoda / Seat microphone and reversing camera with the wiring harness.

Designed for VW platforms (Seat, Skoda and VW)
The KIT-8VWTX303, combined with the X803D-U or X803DC-U brings cutting edge multi-media / navigation into your compatible Volkswagen, Seat or Skoda vehicle. It allows perfect integration of a compatible Alpine Head Unit in your vehicle and includes all required parts.
Retains Steering Wheel Controls
If your car is equipped with original parking sensors, you can continue to use this convenient feature when upgrading to an Alpine Head Unit. The parking sensor system is connected to your Alpine screen, showing a convenient distance display.
Retains Driver Information Display
The small display in the instrument cluster (MFD) is also connected to the Alpine system and can display radio station names, song titles and artist information, caller names and much more. Navigation turn-by-turn arrow support in the MFD will become enabled for the X803D-U / X803DC-U in early 2024. Please ask you Alpine dealer for further information.
Retains Parking Sensors Display
If your car is equipped with original parking sensors, you can continue to use this convenient feature when upgrading to an Alpine Head Unit. The parking sensor system is connected to your Alpine screen, showing a convenient distance display.
Retains Air Condition Display
The Head Unit gives you visual feedback for the selected temperature of driver and co-driver, AC status, seat heating level, selected air vents and more. This screen will automatically appear for a few seconds when any of the named settings is changed to give the driver feedback.
Compatible with Original VW Reversing Camera
You can continue to use your original Volkswagen reversing camera with the KIT-8VWTX303. Note: Not compatible with original RGB cameras.
Compatible with Original VW Microphone
The KIT-8VWTX303 is compatible with your original Volkswagen hands-free microphone. This makes the installation faster and cleaner, since no additional microphone has to be installed.
